Workplace Evaluation + Strategy
We often find ourselves at the forefront of the evolution workplaces from bullpens and large private offices to open plan and cubicles, to alternative workplaces, hotelling, and telecommuting. We help client organizations determine their functional requirements, develop alternatives, implement solutions and assess impact. Activities include workplace evaluation, pre-programming, programming, strategic facility planning and individual ergonomic worksite evaluations. Using an array of tools to collect and interpret information from and about users and their work behavior, the resulting functional requirements define effective design concepts. This approach yields high performance, high technology workplaces that work.

Applied Research
All consulting is knowledge based. We have the skills and expertise necessary to go beyond consulting and conduct scientific investigations and empirical research. Research projects range from studies of performance and productivity to market potential models; from the design, development and testing of information models of complex systems to technology impact studies. We also write research proposals and secure funding through grants and government contracts.

Changing a person's workplace is one of the most significant disruptive occurrences they will experience at work. Work environments affect behavior, health, well being, satisfaction and performance.
